Tips for Data-Driven Teaching

1. Metrics Inform, Don't Dictate

Use Q-Orb as one tool among many. Your ear, experience, and relationship with the student still matter most.

One bad recording doesn't mean regression. Look at weeks and months, not days.

3. Celebrate Small Wins Loudly

Goal hits and baseline improvements are worth celebrating. Make a big deal out of them.

4. Use Data to Validate Student Experience

If a student says "I feel like I'm getting better at pitch," show them their pitch accuracy timeline. Validation is powerful.

5. Adjust Quickly When Data Shows a Problem

If a student has been stuck for a month, don't wait another month. Change the plan now.
