The Big Picture: Studio-Wide Progress

Before diving into individual students, check your studio overview.

Key Studio Metrics

Total Baseline Improvements: Count of all baseline improvements across all students in all metrics. This is your studio's "growth score" — the higher it climbs, the more your students are collectively improving.

Total Goal Hits: How many times students have hit their goals (any metric). This shows engagement and incremental progress. A healthy studio sees this number climb steadily.

Total Practice Minutes: Cumulative practice time across all students. Tracks engagement and effort. Compare month-over-month to spot trends.

Average Success Rate: The percentage of recordings that produced valid Q-Orb analysis across all students. Should be 70%+ for a healthy studio (indicates good recording environments and appropriate exercise difficulty).

Active Students: How many students have practiced or logged in recently (usually last 7-30 days). This is your engagement health check.

Monthly Trend Charts

Exercise Completion Chart (12 months): Shows how many exercises were completed each month. Look for: - Upward trends: Growing engagement - Downward trends: Possible fatigue, seasonal lulls (summer break, holidays) - Spikes: Recital prep, auditions, special events

New Students Chart (12 months): Shows how many students you added each month. Useful for tracking studio growth.

Accuracy Distribution Histogram

Shows how many students fall into each accuracy range: - 90-100%: Exceptional — advanced technique - 80-90%: Strong — solid fundamentals - 70-80%: Developing — making progress - 60-70%: Emerging — early stages - Below 60%: Struggling — may need different exercises or technical support

What to look for: - Most students should cluster in the 70-90% range (healthy progress zone) - A few in 90%+ (your star students) - If many are below 60%, exercises might be too hard, or students need more foundational work
