The Practice Activity Dashboard Interface¶
Let's walk through what you'll typically see on the Practice Activity page.
Studio-Wide Overview¶
At the top, you'll see aggregate stats for your entire studio:
Common stats: - Total students: Your full roster - Active students (last 7 days): Students who practiced recently - Total practice sessions (last 30 days): Count of practice blocks - Total practice minutes (last 30 days): Cumulative time across all students - Total recordings: Number of attempted exercises - Average session duration: Mean practice session length
Why the overview matters: This is your studio health snapshot. If total practice minutes are dropping month-over-month, that's a sign to check in with students broadly. If active students are growing, you're doing something right.
Per-Student Activity¶
Below the overview, you'll see a list or table of individual student activity.
What each student row typically shows: - Student name and profile picture - Last practice session: Date/time of most recent activity - Sessions this week/month: Count of practice blocks - Total practice minutes: Cumulative time - Recordings this week/month: How many exercises they attempted - Activity trend: Visual indicator (up arrow, down arrow, steady) showing if they're practicing more or less than previous period
Sorting options: - Sort by most recent activity (see who practiced today) - Sort by total minutes (see who's putting in the most time) - Sort by recording count (see who's attempting the most exercises) - Sort by least active (find students who need encouragement)
Filtering options: - Filter by date range (last 7 days, 30 days, all time) - Filter by tag (see practice activity for a specific class or group) - Filter by activity status (Active, Less Active, Inactive)
Detailed Session View¶
Click on a student to see their detailed practice history.
What you'll see: - Chronological list of practice sessions with: - Date and time - Duration - Exercises practiced (list) - Number of recordings - Number of playthroughs - Session status (completed, abandoned, in progress)
Why detailed views matter: Sometimes the aggregate numbers don't tell the full story. A student might show "3 practice sessions this week," but if each one was only 5 minutes, that's different from three 30-minute sessions. The detailed view shows the actual pattern.
