The Student List: Your Roster at a Glance

Once you have students added, the Student List becomes your daily workspace. Each student appears as a card showing key information and quick actions.

What You See on Each Student Card

Student Information: - Name and profile picture (if they have one) - Email address - Last Active Date: When they last logged in or recorded - Usage Count: Rough measure of engagement (recordings, sessions, etc.) - Exercises Completed: Number of exercises they've finished - Accuracy Status: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced (based on overall metrics) - Activity Indicator: Color-coded dot showing recent activity level

Activity Indicators (Color-Coded): - Green dot: Active (logged in or practiced within the last 7 days) - Yellow dot: Less Active (activity within 7-30 days) - Red dot: Inactive (no activity in 30+ days)

These visual cues let you instantly spot students who might need a check-in or encouragement.

Tags (if you've assigned any): Colored badges showing organizational tags like "Tuesday 4pm," "Beginners," "Audition Prep," etc. (More on tags in the next section.)

Filtering and Sorting Your Student List

As your roster grows, finding specific students or viewing specific groups becomes important. EchoVQ gives you powerful filtering and sorting options.

Activity Filtering: At the top of the student list, you'll see filter buttons: - All Students: Show everyone (no filter) - Active: Students who've been active in the last 7 days - Less Active: Students active within 7-30 days - Inactive: Students with no activity in 30+ days

Why this matters: These filters help you target outreach. If you want to send encouragement to inactive students or celebrate wins with your active ones, filter the list and take action.

Tag Filtering: If you've created tags (covered in the next section), you'll see them listed as filter options. Click a tag to show only students with that tag.

Example use cases: - Filter by "Advanced" tag to assign a challenging new exercise - Filter by "Tuesday 4pm" to see which students are in that lesson slot - Filter by "Needs Attention" to review struggling students

Sorting Options: Click the sort dropdown to organize students by: - Last Active: Most recently active first (or reverse) - Name (A-Z): Alphabetical by first or last name - Date Added: Newest students first (or oldest first)

Pro tip: Combine filters and sorting. For example, filter by "Inactive" and sort by "Date Added" to find your oldest inactive students — they might need the most outreach.
