Assigning Exercises¶
Finding the right exercises is only half the job — now you need to get them into your students' hands. This section covers everything about assigning exercises, managing practice plans, and making sure students are working on the right material at the right time.
Understanding Practice Plans¶
Every student has a Practice Plan — a curated list of exercises you've assigned for them to work on. Think of it as their personalized curriculum or weekly homework.
What the practice plan is: - A focused list of exercises you want the student to prioritize - Visible prominently in the student's dashboard - What Q-Orb tracks for progress and analytics - The "recommended path" you've set for their development
What the practice plan is NOT: - The only exercises students can access (they can browse the full library) - Mandatory or enforced (students choose when and what to practice) - Permanent (you can add and remove exercises anytime)
Why practice plans matter: Without a practice plan, students browse hundreds of exercises and feel overwhelmed or directionless. With a curated plan, they know exactly what you want them to focus on, making practice sessions efficient and purposeful.
